One of our big ticket projects for 2023, will be to stay open for longer! Hence, we’ve made the decision to start with Fridays and see how we go.
Every Friday from 03 February 2023, Oak Leaf Café will stay open from 9am-9pm.
As per usual, we’ll open at 9am for brunch & lunch service. Once lunch service ends at 2pm, we’ll be offering afternoon tea from 2pm – 5pm. This has been a very popular request from customers over the past two years so we are very excited to see how this offering is received.
During afternoon tea service, we’ll be serving freshly baked cakes, scones, muffins, mini quiches & pies, authentic Belgian waffles, pancakes, milkshakes, our famous toasties and our stunning cheese & charcuterie platters, plus full bar service (specialty coffees & teas, cold drinks, beers, ciders, G&T’s, wines and champagne). We are licensed.
Early Supper service will start at 5pm and the kitchen will close at 8pm. We plan to re-introduce our fabulous pizzas on Friday evenings plus an a la carte menu selection promoted on a blackboard. Chef Sandy will use the freshest seasonal ingredients to craft a hearty and delicious evening menu, where there will be something for everyone.
To kick-off, we’ll be offering our ever popular burgers & chips, steaks, salads & pizzas… with perhaps a surprise or two thrown into the mix to keep the options interesting and exciting!

- Monday: closed
- Tuesday: open 9am-3pm
- Wednesday open 9am-3pm
- Thursday: open 9am-3pm
